2. The ULI Daniel Rose Center is pleased to announce that public officials are eligible to receive a substantial scholarship to attend this year’s Fall Meeting in San Francisco. The meeting will include a special suggested track for public officials as well as a reception honoring public officials. The scholarships are provided through the generous support of AMB Property Corporation, and the scholarship recipients will be eligible for at least a $550 reduction in their registration rates at the Fall Meeting. 3. The Urban Land Institute (ULI) has been awarded a $3.15 million grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide technical assistance for the federal government’s Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP). The program assists communities with the acquisition, rehabilitation and resale of foreclosed homes, with a special emphasis on neighborhoods with large concentrations of foreclosures. 4. ARGUS Software has recently begun offering a certification exam for its product. ULI is considering offering a 2-day training program to prepare for this exam.
